OUR SERVICES
Personalised Music Therapy
Our music therapy services are personalised and supportive, designed to suit each person's unique needs and goals. Using live music in every session, our therapists create safe, engaging spaces where people can connect, grow, and work towards what matters most to them.
We offer a range of services including one-on-one sessions, group therapy, neurologic music therapy, adapted music lessons, and online sessions. We work in our dedicated music therapy spaces, as well as in schools, healthcare settings, and the community. Collaborating closely with other professionals such as GPs, physios, and speech-language therapists, we ensure each person receives the best possible support.
We can provide sessions in Chinese and English. Please get in touch if you'd like to know more.
How To Access Music Therapy
We accept referrals from health practitioners including GPs, counsellors, and speech language therapists. Complete a referral form or contact us directly.
Music therapy can be funded privately or through a funding source. We work with ACC, individualised funding, carer support and respite funding, and a number of organisations. Speak to your case manager to find out more.

"Mums life was music and theatre so music therapy was a natural choice for her when she found out she had Parkinson’s Disease. The Canterbrainer’s choir gave her back her voice- and her confidence as well as providing a new community of friends.
When mum was under palliative care for cancer, on her bucket list was to record a song. I knew Kim was the best person to support her to reach this goal-Kim encouraged mum to write her own song. This process was very healing for mum as she reflected on her life, the good times and the hard times, it gave us a project to take her mind away from her failing body. Music was her therapy and her song is her legacy for our family.
Thanks Kim for being part of her life journey."
