Support Young Stroke Survivors Through Music Therapy
Stroke support has diminished significantly in the past year — and younger survivors under 65 are now left without funded rehabilitation options.
Southern Music Therapy is launching a 10-week Music Therapy Group in Christchurch to fill this gap. We’re raising $3,500 to make it happen.
Why Music Therapy?
It’s fun, stimulating, and motivating
It helps reroute pathways in the brain
It supports neuroplasticity — the brain’s ability to heal and adapt
It builds confidence, communication, and connection
Led by a registered Music Therapist, this band-style group will run weekly at the BrainTree Wellness Centre.
Help us bring music, movement, and hope to those who need it most.
